mom has just commented that i looked damn fat right now. yes, i admit. i am FREAKIN FAT. i now weigh the highest ever since i graduated from poly.

and that's sad.

i just simply look gigantic. plus, i seem to have newfound love-handles. this really SUCK BIG TIME.


oh, and am listening to MJ's songs right now. i cant help but admit he's quite a talent, and it sorta hurts to see him leave so early. it's like, he became so pathetic, yet we cant seem to empathize on him right now cuz he's gone.

My bro just came back from the US and my boss has quarantined me for three (03) days, including tmr (Wed) cuz my bro is on MC with cough today! WAHAHAHA...



so happy la. but gotta wake up early tmr to "work" at home, and i bet his bro is gonna call me for a few hundred times.




went to makan with yipee earlier at yishun northpoint and bought 12 macaroons @ Bakerzin (whatever the spelling) and it cost me freaking S$19.26 AFTER GST. and i got them taken away! i dint dine there! :[





brought yipee to dine at Yoshinoya, had ordered two bowls of beef bowls (which he disliked cuz of the seaweed in the soup), and i helped to polish off his soup. added scallops to our meal and the damage was S$17. ouch.





after dinner, went to shop around at the various shops at northpoint. i entered one particular shop, and bought S$73 worth of clothings.

bought 2 x tees, 1 x vest, 1 x belt. AND THAT'S IT. THAT'S FREAKIN' IT! it was expensive. and can you imagine, i'd spent approx. S$110 on a simple Tuesday night.



and guess what, as if this wasnt enough, i went online shopping for these two quarantined-days! i bought these:

nothing special.




wanted to do something exclusive, by buying a cake and surprising him in the office after his last appointment. booked table for 2 at Vivo's Imperial-whatever-restaurant for 7pm.




and dear and his staff discussed till 7.30pm. felt so bad to ask dear to come back. if not he wouldnt be shedding his time away on his bdae with lame discussions. -_-" wept and did not give him face on his bdae. HAHA





whatever. i cut my hair short and dyed them a different colour on 16th May 09, which is my da kor's ROM. with streaks of grey. *ouch. i thought it may look kinda nice. but, whatever.

i'm slowly getting used to his bro's sarcastic comments, cuz i know ultimately, 他的嘴巴是贱的。 he does it to everyone, so i'm gonna put him to the back of my head. just that, i need to rebuke him every now and then and it makes me real tired.

had dinner at Black Opal and it costs me S$170.20 to have 2 glasses of champagne, 1 rack of T-Bone Steak, and 1 serving of braised beef cheeks. but i heart the beef cheeks! it's so tender and so full of collagen. hahas. you can tell there's collagen you know! cuz it's sticky!!

Been behaving so far?


i know. i have my ipoh trip's pictures that are long due, but i'm just a bit tired to photoshop over 150odd pix of mine.


i've gotten so fat, that the camera lenses were unable to capture my face - it went over the image.

I used to have this "Bready" nickname when nicoletan was around, but i think she can stick to calling me "Prata" face from now on.
arghs. clothes cant fit me anymore (or rather, i cant fit them anymore! :(  ), and i have an ambition to slim down to 54kg within the next two months.



but, let me tell you the truth: the ambition thing was just bullshit.

14th February 2009: My lovely Valentine's!
Went for lesson from 2-6pm, and dear came and pick me up from school. i asked him where we were heading, and he said he wants to give me a surprise. i told him i'm so afraid of his surprises as most of them turned out to be disapointments. hahas. actually, when you dont expect, you dont get disappointed. therefore, i gave up my expectations of him and actually had a happy night! :)




he drove and we reached the junction near vivocity. i thought he wanted to bring me to vivo to our fav restaurant, but i was wrong! he took a left turn before vivo and got our asses near sentosa! woohoo~ we were so going to sentosa!!!

after our hearty steamboat dinner at Hotpot Culture in Marina Square, we went for a stroll in Esplanade and landed ourselves in Max Brenner's Chocolate House(or whatever it is called)!













had lessons on 23rd and 24th till 1030pm. a totally shacked week. 25th saw me and my two girlfriends to watch "Slumdog Millionaire"after work. i wonder what's the hype abt the show. =.=   oh. saw a giant rainbow too at dhoby ghaut!




after the movie, he came and pick me up at yck stattion and we went bishan to 钓虾！

28th February 2009: Fullerton Hotel

booked a table for two at Town Restaurant, Fullerton. it was drizzling and it added tremendous amount of romance and aphrosidiac into the atmosphere. the food wasnt fantastic as it wasnt as fresh. i had stale mussels! and sashimi.... :(


we are in love. very. (cross my fingers and pray hard!)




next thurs - sun sees me and my family to Ipoh. and probably in April, me and dear will be heading to Australia! he asked me to do the planning. i'll only have to do it in full anxiety! :):):)







i need to call mavis-zeh liao. ciao people, and hope all of us will have lovey times ahead! :)

aw peeps. have been soooooooooo outta touch.



work at bf's place isnt all sunshine and rosy; he picks me up at 8am every morning, and i have to work till 6 pm everyday. PLUS, everytime his bro comes back from site, he's debrief me for god-knows-how-long. however, at least some days passed particularly quickly cuz at least i have SOMETHING to do. cannot claim OT somemore!!! :( but bf's said he'll pay me something similar to what TMW was paying me. so i rest my case. :)



it gets a little boring slowly, as calling different people and getting bitched is not exactly the most exciting job ever. but then again, "wages is the main reason why one works", so. i'll grit my teeth even harder.



school's started too, and will make a trip down to Ipoh with family early March. i strongly need the break cuz juggling work and studies and fun is not fun AT ALL. i'm completely drained.




oh yes. am on a super duper massive weight gain (AGAIN). after leaving TMW for almost half a year now, i've gained like freaking 5kilos?! that is OMFGscary.






oh yes. nicola asked me out, and i told him i'll meet him only after some weight loss. hahahaha!

went out today to bugis with my two best friends and her sister. it was fucking crowded and i swear i'm gonna swear off bugis! bought her 3 bottles of nail polishes from beauty credit and 1 earring from silver.com. costs me 20bucks in total. bought myself a clip for my hair from Chomel and a shirt from Bysi. and i ate a whole loads of stuffs.


UPDATE: my mom helped to iron the new shirt the next day and two holes were seen on it after that. Just My Luck! :(

i went to perm my hair today at toa payoh!



err. or rather, perm my extensions. hahas. it costs 80 bucks, and i bought a hair tonic and hair oil serum (which smells realllllllllllllllllll nice) for $45.


anyway the perm looks like maggie mee, not that satisfied.

i finally found the perfect remedy for my insomniac nights: mugging.



i'd just finished my Human Resource exams tonight, and will be delighted if i know i can pass it. "why your confidence level so low", you ask me. that's cuz' i doze off every now and then when the book is infront of me.



wasting my money on the course? hell yes. but then again, if i contemplate further, i dont think i'll ever complete the course. -,-



i really have to find a way to kick myself into studying. and identify why i always 三分钟热度.



when i was in primary school, i took up chinese dance but left after a few months in there. when i was in secondary school, i joined choir when i was in secondary two when most of the people took up their ccas in secondary one. when i was in poly, i thought guitar was cool and took up guitar lessons for less than a year.



i quit everything halfway. so now, why do i want to NOT perform my best too?




i have no idea why.




i have loads to update but so little kick to do so.



meanwhile, i'll just update you with the misc pictures that i took along the way.






oh. and i'm also getting really really fat. time to shake off the fats off me by eating more cheese fries and popcorn chicken  going jogging and losing my appetite by gorging myself with more and more food.

As for christmas, my classmate Eryk intro-ed Waterfront Grand Copthorne Hotel (WFGC), just next to Zouk, as his sis is working there. claims the room the room to be big and cheap and with bathtubs. happily, we went to view the webbie of WFGC. looks alright, and since it's slightly cheaper, i got the go-ahead from bf too. it costs us $218++/night and we booked it for one night initially.




bf and i booked into WFGC at around 3pm on 24th December. the receptionist was not very smily, and did not answer one of my question. i dunno whether i was too soft, or he had hard hearing.




after bf and i checked into the room at 3pm, i realised that there was no bathtub as said. i called the front desk, and they said some rooms doesnt have the bathtubs, while others do. i askd him to do a check for me and he said he'll get back to me. well, he apparently, did not. i went to see the bathroom and there was only a set of toothbrush. -.-




bf said he doesnt mind, and asked me to book the restaurant for dinner. we will be having our dinner at Cafe Brio's in the hotel itself. it cost bf 128++/pax with complimentary flow of champagne.



then he had to leave for work and acc his daughter. i stayed in the hotel and took loads of pictures, prepared myself for dinner and did my assignment.

i managed to persuade him to stay for another night, and we checked out this morning at 1030am. he did not agree initially, as he said that he needs to go back to work today. but, haha. i promised him that he could do his work in the room, therefore, tada! another night!





christmas dinner: fish and co. promo of free flow of drinks, but we only had 2 cups as the waitresses were busy serving other ppl.

not worth it!




hotel room: old. toilet: small. TV: old and bulky. bed: surprisingly comfortable. ironing board: old.
service: lousy. (we went out for lunch at great world city at 1pm, placed the sign for room serivce, came back at 3pm but nothing was done. called for room service and lady rudely hung up my call. room attendant came in an hour later)




but having spent christmas with him is just as wonderful (i tried to ignore those spoilsports along the way!)
